As we cross the middle of the second decade of 21st century, the debate on the magnitude of environmental crisis becomes redundant as its footprint are visible everywhere: increasing burden of global population crossing eight billion mark in 2017; irreversible depletion as well as pollution of all fundamental natural resources- water, air land and forests; and all pervasive global climate crisis, threatening the very existence of human civilization which created it. As the human population keeps on enlarging, there is a lot of pressure on the utilization of natural resources.
